VOTING INFORMATION

Residents across New York State go to the polls on the third Tuesday each May to vote on the annual school budget and elect members to the Board of Education.

Voter eligibility

You are eligible to vote if you are a U.S. citizen, 18 years old or older, and have been a district resident for at least 30 days prior to the vote date. You must also be registered with your county’s Board of Elections or the Unadilla Valley Central School District.

Voter registration

Residents can register any school day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the District Office, 4238 State Highway 8, New Berlin. No appointment is necessary.  

Absentee ballot information

Absentee ballots are available for voters who are unable to vote in person due to illness, physical disability, hospitalization or travel. Applications are required to receive a ballot. To request an absentee ballot, please contact Valerie L. Verry, District Clerk at (607) 847-7500, ext. 1131 or in-person at the District Office, 4238 State Highway 8, New Berlin.
