A popular community and family night of fun made its return to Unadilla Valley this week.
ABC Night on Thursday, May 11, attracted more than 300 people as students and their families circulated around to tables corresponding to a letter in the alphabet - with each featuring a tasty nutritious treat.
ABC Night was a fantastic, collaborative success, according to UV Elementary Principal Michelle Hardler.
The UV Wellness Committee and the Links Team partnered with a wide range of school and community groups to put on the event.
They included the Bassett School Based Health Clinic, the New Berlin and South New Berlin libraries, Cabot/Agri-Mark, UHS, the South New Berlin, New Berlin and Pittsfield fire departments, Girl Scouts, Healthy Kids, Fidelis, Catholic Charities, grade level staff and faculty teams, LPP, Safety Patrol, Humana, the UV FFA, the New Berlin Rotary, the UV Transportation Department, Habitat for Humanity, the UV Community Scholarship Fund, Butternut Valley Grange, Elementary School counselors, the Chenango County Health Department SADD and Chobani
