Good morning Unadilla Valley families,
As you may know, schools across New York State continue to be impacted by staffing shortages. In some cases, these shortages may have little notice and may hinder the ability of a school district to safely transport, feed, care for and instruct children. Unadilla Valley CSD is no exception.
This is a reminder that Unadilla Valley may need to utilize remote learning days, when necessary, due to staffing shortages or other reasons for the 2023-24 school year.
Emergency days, such as snow days, will remain traditional, meaning if the district is closed for weather related reasons and/or power outages, there is no school and no remote learning for that day. If there is a remote learning day, students are expected to follow the remote learning day schedule and procedures. These are included below for your reference.
If you have any questions about our remote learning day policy, please contact your child’s principal.
Sincerely,
Brenton S. Taylor, Superintendent of Schools
