Many thanks to our volunteer first responders who gave our students a fantastic Fire Safety Day experience on Oct. 11!
Our students learned about the importance of smoke detectors; why not to be afraid of firefighters who have all their gear on; stop, drop and roll; how to safely exit a classroom window; and other fire safety information. They also got to explore fire trucks. Preferred Mutual gave out their annual Fire Safety Poster Contest Awards to our awesome poster creators!
Thank you to everyone working hard to make our school community safer. Local fire departments included Pittsfield, South New Berlin and New Berlin.
