UV students had the opportunity this week to participate in Chobani Let’s Eat Week meal packing event with Chobani Founder Hamdi Ulukaya.
In honor of World Hunger Day, Chobani invited the Unadilla Valley FFA officers to the New Berlin plant on Oct 19. Chobani’s goal for the week was to pack 4,000 meals for their communities. Those meals will then be distributed to schools, pantries, senior centers, and after-school programs throughout our neighborhoods.
UV FFA Officers who attended were President Nate Rumovicz, Vice President Adrienne Hodge, Secretary Emily DeFrank, Treasurer Sarina Bell, and Reporter Brynley Luca.
Sarina had the opportunity to talk about FFA with Chobani founder Hamdi Ulukaya and Assemblyman Joe Angelino. The group in the pictures packed 1,400 meals in two hours.
