a student holds a small engine

UV's Precision Machining class is working on air-powered engine projects! The class, which has students in 9th through 12th grade, began cutting parts for the engines in October and continue to work on them with the district's precision machining equipment. This is the first time this class has been offered at UV and it's exciting to watch the first projects come together. The tiny engines they are making are powered by compressed air!
