Tomorrow, May 21, will be a busy day at Unadilla Valley Central School.
The school budget vote and Board of Education election will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Voting will take place in the hallway to the right of Storm Alley at the District Office entrance.
The Fine Arts Showcase will be on display in Storm Alley throughout the day and evening.
Our Jr./Sr. High School Spring Concert is set for 7 p.m.
To safely handle the increased traffic, Unadilla Valley CSD is taking a number of steps:
There will be parking areas marked for 15-minute voter parking intended for those who want to head straight into Storm Alley to vote.
To accommodate those with mobility issues, there will be additional handicap parking spaces available.
In addition, motorists who have a passenger that has mobility issues can pull up to the walkway in front of the building to drop off their passenger before parking their vehicle.
To help us out, families with students participating in the concert are encouraged to park in either the north or south parking lots, and not the middle lot closest to the district office entrance.
Please remember when school buses are in the parking lot in front of the school, vehicle traffic through that lot is not allowed in order to keep our students safe. School buses are typically in that lot between 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. to load students when they are dismissed. Once the buses depart, we will return to designated 15-minute voter parking and regular parking.

Because Chenango County no longer offers a voting machine service for school district use, this year’s voting will be done by paper ballot.
