Congratulations to those students who were awarded Greta Godley Scholarships!
Heather Bayfield with the Greta Godley Memorial Scholarship Fund visited UV last Friday to meet with the students.

Over the years this foundation has been responsible for awarding UV students nearly a million dollars in scholarships. Students not only receive funds their first year in college but can reapply each year for continued financial support.
This fund is in memory of Frederick and Mary Godley’s daughter, Greta, and will be continued by Greta’s siblings. The fund is intended to assist a limited number of young people who need more money than scholarships are able to provide. In essence, this is a living memorial to Greta Godley. It was the Foundation’s hope that students who benefit from this fund will bring their skills back to the area.
